An idea to produce security and OPSEC guides that would benefit the whole space was discussed here.

Submitted to dcrdocs as issue 799.

Good question whether to embed it in dcrdocs or put separately. One hybrid option is to put the guide it into a separate .md repo and include it in dcrdocs build. At the cost of more maintenance complexity we get more publishing and distribution flexibility. Contributors can work with a tiny .md repo, compared to a heavy dcrdocs repo. Segregated guide can be published separately if needed, as a website or a book. More cc projects can be invited to collaborate. (chat)

that security doco would draw a lot of readers if made it cc-neutral (chat)

Part of larger education effort (#27)

Consider how to organize content that is specific to Decred. If made cc-neutral, there will be no place for it so it needs to be placed somewhere else.
