When I build the latest spring-framework downloaded in the form of zip, I meet the following problem. Fail to excute "git rev-parse --verify HEAD", can you give me some advice?

Hello @chchzh1978
The zip distribution is meant for sharing our source code, but not necessarily for building it.
This part of the build is relying on git files being present for our build pipeline.

You could try commenting the following lines and trying again, but your safest option for building Spring Framework yourself is cloning the git repository:

$ git clone git@github.com:spring-projects/spring-framework.git
